Get the data you need faster – Impero’s March 2023 product update

As the end of Q1 2023 approaches, many finance, tax and compliance teams have finalized their audit and Annual Report, and are looking to optimize the process for next year.

That’s where our latest update has you covered.

Following the introduction of persistent filters in control management, based on popular demand we’ve introduced the concept in the risk module.

Let’s take a look.

🎉 Narrow your risk map and directory, so you only see what’s relevant to you

Filter to the information you need – and save it for next time.

Risk managers have often told us they spend far too much time applying the same filters and views repeatedly when they need to manage risks, processes or entities. That’s now a thing of the past.

By saving filters and views, you can be sure to extract a view of the right risks, every time. That means your overview is always accurate, and you’ll save time by not having to select the filters each time you want to generate a view.

Plus, you can share the correct view with stakeholders and Auditors to help make next year’s audit and Annual Report smoother.

📊 Gain a faster understanding of your control performance with filters for datasheet reports

To generate an actionable overview for your organization’s management, it’s important to deliver data that actually makes a difference.

Whether you’re looking to understand your control performance, or ensure the right filters are selected for other stakeholders to assess, accuracy is essential.

And now it’s easier – thanks to saving and persisting of filters for datasheet reports.

This makes it simpler to collaborate with other stakeholders or auditors, and saves you time by making sure the right information is shared every time.

👩‍💻 Easily view the control information you need with filtering by assignees or tags

Sort & save control information by performers, reviewers and second reviewers, as well as the assignment tag of the assignees.

For many Compliance Managers, an overview of the data in your control framework – like control types, recurrence and general master data – can help form an action plan. But sometimes, you need a little bit more information than just the headlines.

Introducing a new filter to make this simpler.

Within control management, we have now extended our filter options to include filtering by assignees and assignment tags.

This means you can sort and save control information by performers, reviewers and second reviewers, as well as the assignment tag of the assignees.

This gives you a quicker overview of the relevant controls, so you can take action on what matters.

🧹 Improve your data hygiene by automatically removing old datasheet reports

Automatically hide the old datasheet when it’s been deleted

Data hygiene is vital to the success of any audit. But with multiple datasheet reports in the system, it was easy to cause confusion, and difficult to remove or delete the old report to ensure you’re looking at the most up-to-date information.

That changes now. Impero will automatically hide the old datasheet when it’s been deleted.

This is a boost to your data hygiene and removes the possibility of spending time working on a datasheet only to realize it’s an old one.

Coming soon

It’s been a busy Q1 for the Impero team – and you can expect even more in Q2 and beyond.

Here’s a sneak peek at what we have planned in the coming releases, and some events you’ll want to mark in your calendar.

Roadmap Webinar

25 April, 10-11am CEST

At the end of April, our CEO Rikke Stampe Skov and CTO Allan Lykke Christensen are teaming up to unpack more of the Impero roadmap – and what it means for your business.

What’s on the agenda?

  • Demo of the upcoming Reviewer Tasks and Control Testing features
  • Demo of automating internal control processing using the Impero API
  • Opportunity for you to share what you would like from the Impero platform in the future.

When? 25 April, 10-11am CEST

You’ll soon be able to extract risk directories and assessments using the API and the Power BI Connector.

This will enable you to do risk reporting outside of Impero and create Risk-Control Matrices in Power BI.
