The datasheet function

Extensive tables (for example, exports from SAP) are part of everyday work in many organizations.

The challenge regularly arises that this data has to be checked or supplemented by various departments or employees.

The datasheet function provides valuable support here. Datasheets can be integrated into Impero controls. Therefore, all standard features of an Impero control are available, such as precise scheduling and assignment to different employees, and extensive reporting.

The datasheet function allows you to import data from Excel and to define response fields or response columns (inputs). For each control, the data are sent to employees throughout the organization so that they can check or add to the existing data. All information collected can be analyzed and, if necessary, exported back to Excel.

Our customers use the datasheet in a variety of ways and creatively. Examples? A customer uses the datasheet function to regularly check whether existing IT access rights are still up-to-date or need to be adjusted. In addition, we often see implementation of reporting requirements in the tax area, in particular DAC 6 reporting and country by country reporting. The datasheet is also ideally suited for querying key figures for the purposes of environmental, social, governance (ESG) reporting (see figure) or for uploading balance sheets and sending them for verification in connection with account reconciliation.

In essence, it remains the same: Tables are checked or supplemented by many people in different places – and all of this in a compact and easy-to-use environment with extensive options for tracking the implementation and creating reports.

Get started with API

Reduce your reliance on manual data uploads by using our API to populate your datasheets automatically.

Update your datasheets with the latest data in the background instead of uploading the data manually.

With the datasheet API you can integrate your ERP systems with Impero and upload programmatically fresh data into the datasheets. Once you have set up the integration you will save time and avoid formatting errors during copy-paste.
